Just in case you weren’t already aware, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil have been huge for us so far this season.
So huge, in fact, that the Chilean has played a part in six out of our eight Champions League goals and Ozil has been involved in 11 goals in just nine games.
It’s not until you see figures like this set out in front of you that you realise just how amazing these two players are. Of course you can go watch the games and seeing them dart around the pitch in person is an unrivaled experience, but when it comes to their contribution to the team as a whole, statistics really put it into perspective.
Against Dinamo Zagreb, Alexis assisted Ozil’s first goal and then went on to score two more himself. What an unreal player.
