Man United veteran Paul Scholes has admitted that despite his former team currently doing well in the league, it’ll take a lot for them to win it over the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City.

Although the Red Devils have been getting the results, their performances haven’t been fantastic and against Watford on Saturday, it was a close call. United eventually won 2-1 in the dying seconds of the match.

Scholes believes that this is why the team he spent his entire career at won’t be able to win the league this season.

“Are they good enough to go on and win the league? I’m not 100 percent convinced,” he admitted. “I think Manchester City and Arsenal would have to struggle with injuries and form.”

The thing is, Arsenal are currently going through an injury crisis, which only got worse in our 2-1 loss against West Brom as both Coquelin and Arteta were subbed off, and City completely crumbled against Liverpool at home.

It seems as if no one wants to win the league this season and it’s looking as if it’s going to be a close one.
