It’s just over a week until Arsenal are back in Premier League action, and we should have some sort of reinforcements to the squad by then.

The last three games (Swansea, Bayern Munich, Tottenham) have seen Joel Campbell start on the right wing in the absence of Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott.

With Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck also out, Arsenal need at least one of those men back as soon as possible and it looks like Oxlade-Chamberlain will be fit for the game against West Brom on 21st November. But will anyone else? Ramsey was expected to return in time for the game at The Hawthorns, but the Mirror now seem to say he is out for a longer period, as is Theo Walcott.

“The England midfielder is expected to be fit to play at West Brom straight after the international break while Hector Bellerin could also return after a groin problem,” writes John Cross. “Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott are facing lengthier spells on the sidelines after muscle injuries which is something Wenger wants to prevent with Sanchez.”

By the time of the West Brom game, Ramsey would have picked up his injury over five weeks ago. In the past, Ramsey has missed three months with a thigh strain but his hamstring injuries have seen him return within there regular three-five week timeframe.

With Oxlade-Chamberlain and Bellerín hopefully available again, Arsenal will at the very least have a better looking bench with more options, but Wenger will be cautious not to lose any more players so soon.
