It looks like Arsenal Ladies have made their first signing of the winter transfer window.

They are looking to sign Danielle Van Den Donk from Koppabergs/Goteborg FC. The Dutch midfilder transferred from PSV Eindhoven to the Swedish club back in June and seem on her way to Arsenal.

The tweet from the Netherlands FA journalist below confirms the move:

The 24-year-old midfielder played all four Netherlands games at the recent FIFA 2015 Women’s World Cup played in Canada. She played a total of 305 minutes at the tournament, having one shot off target, giving away seven fouls and being booked once.

She would be the third Dutch player to join the club alongside Sari Van Veenendaal and Dominique Janssen. Two other Dutch players played for the Arsenal Academy a few years ago: Felicienne Minaar and current Dutch international player Renee Slegers.
