Arsene Wenger praised Mesut Ozil following another superb performance against Everton.

Ozil grabbed another assist against the Blues in our 2-1 win in the Premier League and the boss was eager to praise him afterwards.

“He is a top class player, honestly,” Wenger said. “Rather than talking about him I would rather watch him again.”

The playmaker seems to have kicked things up a notch in recent matches. He’s having more and more shots, and his confidence appears to be growing. If the German can just become a little more dangerous in front of goal, he’ll be a truly scary player.

Anyone who’s watched Ozil play in person knows how exciting he is to watch. Not only are his little tricks, flicks and unreal passes mouthwatering, but his movement off the ball is ridiculous in the best way. His defensive work against Everton was also brilliant, despite him probably being tired following our 2-0 win over Bayern midweek.

Wenger gets to see this magician in training, doing his thing, everyday and therefore, he’s well aware of his immense ability.
