Thierry Henry has once against tried to clarify his comment that Arsenal cannot win the league with Olivier Giroud as our main striker.

Earlier in the season, the legend said that we need to bring in a new striker as Giroud simply wasn’t good enough to win the league.

However, now, the pundit has said that he meant that we couldn’t win it with Giroud as our only striker and now that Walcott has come into form, we’re in a far better position.

As much as I do love Henry, it feels as if he’s backtracking over his comments a little, which he’s perfectly entitled to do, but he seems to be trying to justify what he previously said a little too vehemently.

Of course, I could be wrong.
