The latest fixture list alterations have been made after Sky and BT Sport named the fixtures which will make up their coverage of Premier League football over the festive season.

Here are the rearranged games:

Aston Villa v Arsenal: Sunday, 13th December, 13:30.

Arsenal v Manchester City: Monday, 21st December, 20:00.

Southampton v Arsenal: Saturday, 26th December, 19:45.

The last game, away to Southampton, was always going to be played on Boxing Day. As a result of the time being changed, the game at home to Bournemouth on Monday, 28th December has been moved from a 15:00 kick-off to a 17:30 kick-off.

Arsenal also play Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium on 5th December and are away to Olympiacos in a possibly crucial Champions League game on the 9th December. Should we beat Sheffield Wednesday in the League Cup fourth round, we will have a fifth round game on the 1st or 2nd of the month.

So, one month, 28 days, four weeks and the Gunners could have to play seven games on football. That’s on top of two games during the last week of November and a game on the 2nd January against Newcastle United.

Winter break, anyone? Not a chance in this country.
