Arsene Wenger met with the press for his pre-Bayern Munich press conference on Monday afternoon and gave us the latest update on the state of his squad.

Gabriel, who missed out on the game against Watford at the weekend will return to the squad after recovering from a minor operation (we think something dental) but David Ospina will miss out due to being dropped picking up a sore shoulder on international duty.

We have no new injury concerns from the game at the weekend.

Wenger told reporters We have Gabriel back available, he is the only player back available. Everybody has recovered from our game on Saturday so it is nearly the same squad.

“Ospina is out injured. He came back from Colombia with a shoulder problem and he is out.”

The match was set to be dominated by talk of whom the boss would play in goal but that whole conversation has been nullified by Ospina’s ‘injury’ so we can concentrate on the game.

Right?

If ever there was a must-win game, then this is it. Can Arsenal do it? We’d like to think so, but then again, we also thought they’d beat Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos as well.
