A 3-0 win over Manchester United on Sunday saw Arsenal reach an Emirates Stadium landmark.

The third goal, brilliantly scored by Alexis Sánchez, was the 500th Premier League goal scored at the Emirates Stadium.

That’s an impressive 2.86 goals per game.

Arsenal have scored 360 (72%) of the Premier League goals scored at the stadium that has been our home since 2006, with our most prolific season being 2009/10, when we scored 48 times in 19 Premier League home games. Unsurprisingly, that season also saw us achieve our best home goal difference (+33) since the move form Highbury.

Our worst goal difference, which was just +15, came in the 2008/09 season. We only netted 31 goals at home. The most we’ve conceded at the Emirates Stadium in a Premier League season is 23 in 2012/13, but we scored 47 despite the loss of Robin van Persie.

The other record set on Sunday was a Premier League first. Manchester United, before the weekend, had never conceded three goals in the opening 20 minutes of a Premier League game.

They have now. Ha!
