Man United fans weren’t best pleased when their new signing, Morgan Schneiderlin, was dropped against Arsenal but the midfielder insists he doesn’t mind.

Louis van Gaal’s tactics against Arsenal were brought into question when he chose an older, slower lineup, rather than opting for the likes of Schneiderlin, who would have been better equipped at handling our blistering pace.

However, despite the 3-0 loss, the former Southampton man insists that he understands and that there’s no hard feelings.

“I have played a lot of matches. The coach made a lot of changes in attack and even in midfield and you have to get used to it,” the Frenchman said.

“I used to play all the games with Southampton but things have changed. I happened to be on the bench, you have to take it philosophically.”

Schneiderlin was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal over the summer. However, for whatever reason, the move didn’t happen and he instead signed for the Red Devils.

The defensive midfielder has made nine appearances for his new club so far this season, so hasn’t exactly reached benchwarmer status yet. However, it’s interesting that although he’s not directly questioning his boss’ tactics, there are murmurings that several members of the squad are.
