Aaron Ramsey enjoyed one hell of an international break, but Arsenal now need him to add a bit more end product to his game on club duty.

He’s yet to find the back of the net this season and the Gunners can’t rely on Alexis Sánchez and Theo Walcott in every game. Ramsey’s contribution will be vital, and he knows it.

For Wales he has had an incredible week. Despite losing in Bosnia, the national team secured qualification to Euro 2016; it’ll be their first appearance at a major tournament in 58 years.

At the celebration party that was Tuesday’s game against Andorra, Ramsey scored the opener to bag his 10th goal for his country.

“I have been wanting to reach that mark for a few games and to finally achieve that, to get into double figures, is a great personal achievement,” the midfielder said. “Hopefully there are more to come.

“I’ve been wanting it now for a few games for Arsenal as well,” he added.

I have struggled a bit at the beginning of the season with goals but hopefully now that (Wales goal) will settle me down and I can carry on throughout the season.”

Ramsey’s general form hasn’t been bad at all despite Arsenal’s patchy start to the season. A terrific performance came from a central role against Tottenham Hotspur, and he was brilliant in the first half against Manchester United despite missing a great chance to make it 4-0.

His all-round form hasn’t suffered, but Arsenal are more of a threat with a goalscoring Aaron Ramsey. Let’s hope, maybe, he’ll return soon.
