Fancy loaning out one of our young talents to Tony offing Pulis and his sterile brand of football.

Physicality, discipline and experience are the order of the day in his dressing rooms, and poor Serge Gnabry has found himself exiled to reserve football in the Midlands.

“Serge has come here to play games but he just hasn’t been for me, at the moment, at that level to play games,” Pulis said.

“He’s come from academy football and has not played much league football. Does academy football really prepare players for league football? And we’re talking about Premier League football here.”

What a load of nonsense. Two years ago, Gnabry was playing first team football for Arsenal after injuries struck and he impressed. His last Arsenal appearance was back in 2014 thanks to injuries of his own, and he was sent to West Brom to build on his limited Premier League experience.

Unfortunately, Pulis doesn’t seem to get it. As these things go, it’s typical that the Gunners are now scrambling around for a wide midfielder.

Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck are yet to even train this season, and have been joined on the sidelines by Aaron Ramsey, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott. Things are getting desperate.

Gnabry, at the age of 18, started nine first team games back in 2013/14, and would undoubtedly start now. As it happens, he’s out on loan where he won’t play and Arsenal will play a less talented player in midfield for the next few weeks.

It would be much easier to take if he was actually playing for West Brom right now. Thanks, Pulis.
