Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored England’s final goal of European Championship Qualifying as the Three Lions completed a 100% record.

Away to Lithuania, England went into the game hoping to win the tenth and final qualifier having won the previous nine. Arsenal’s Kieran Gibbs and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain started, with Theo Walcott on the bench after he scored on Friday night.

Gibbs played well but Ox struggled on an artificial pitch. The winger was sometimes wasteful, but improved in the second half and netted his fifth goal for his country.

Ox hasn’t been in the best of form for Arsenal of late, but hopefully this goal will reinvigorate him ahead of his return to London.
