Arsenal u19s beat Bayern Munich without a number of important players on Tuesday, as u17 international games take place around the world.

Chris Willock, who was excellent as England drew their World Cup opener with Guinea, started once more. The Three Lions lost 1-0 to Brazil however, and are now on the brink of leaving the tournament.

The best-placed third place teams will head into the knockout rounds but England are tied with Guinea on just one point after two games and face an impressive South Korea side next. Stephy Mavididi and Kaylen Hinds both played 20 minutes in the loss to Brazil, while Willock was subbed off after 80 minutes.

In u17 European Championships qualifiers, Yassin Fortune started in a 1-0 win for France against Northern Ireland. This next batch of French u17 players have big footsteps to follow in, as the team currently at the World Cup won the Euros back in March.

Jeff Reine-Adelaide is part of that side, and is in Chile for the World Cup where he did this in France’s opening game:

Jeff was on the winning side, as he and his team-mates eased past New Zealand with a 6-1 win.
