Arsenal will be without Aaron Ramsey, David Ospina, Tomas Rosicky, Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck for the visit of the Toffees on Saturday evening in the Premier League.

Rambo pulled his hamstring in the second half of the game against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night and is set for at least four weeks on the sidelines while David Ospina will be given an extended break to recover from the shoulder injury nobody believes he actually picked up while on international duty.

Wilshere, Welbeck and Rosicky are expected back in the New Year however we have heard a little whisper that Jack could be out a bit longer than that. It’s hard to tell how much truth there is in that but given his, and Arsenal’s, track record, you wouldn’t bet against it.

“He [Ramsey] had a scan today but he’s out”, Wenger told Arsenal.com.

“I believe he will be out until after the next international break. With the [last] international break, the fact that he played against Andorra certainly cost Bale and him as well.

“David Ospina is out for our next game and certainly until the next international break.”

[UPDATE – this is now six as Arsene Wenger confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Mikel Arteta had picked up an injury in training and would not be available.]
