Arsenal lead the team vote in the AP Global 10 – yeah, we don’t really know what it is either.

The Associated Press Global Football 10 ranks the best teams and players from the week and while Arsenal lead the way after their wins over Bayern Munich and Everton, Olivier Giroud also makes the list as does Mesut Ozil as he continues to ‘nick a living’.

We can all safely assume this was decided before Arsenal travelled to Sheffield Wednesday earlier in the week.

“Any team that can beat Bayern Munich in the German club’s current form deserves recognition,” said Marco Monteverde of News Corp. Australia. “Arsenal then backed up that Champions League win with victory over an extremely competitive Everton outfit.”

Barcelona are second on the list due to their rather less impressive win over BATE Borisov, while Germans Borussia Dortmund are in third place.

West Ham also make the top ten as the only other Premier League side on the list.

Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane join Giroud and Ozil on the players list as the other Premier League representatives.
