Emmanuel Adebayor could be about to rock up in the Premier League once again with Watford being touted as a possible destination for the eternal troublemaker.

Currently without a club after he proved himself to be too useless even for Tottenham, it is being claimed that Adebayor has been handed an offer to join Arsenal’s weekend opponents for training in order that he might keep up his fitness levels so he can find a club in January.

It has been made clear that he has not received a playing offer from the Hornets but it seems like one could be on the horizon, with Watford’s manager, Quique Sanchez Flores, saying recently “We admire Adebayor. He is an amazing player. You never know what will happen in football. Maybe we will have the possibility to train together.”

Watford would do well to take a long, hard look at the Togo man’s track record before they get themselves involved. While there is no doubting Adebayor’s ability, his attitude and application are serious red flags for any club and he has repeatedly shown that he is not above spurning every chance handed to him.

He also is said to have offers on the table from the Middle East and Turkey where he could no doubt earn the sort of stupid money he thinks he’s worth.

The London Evening Standard report, however, that he would prefer to remain in London and in the Premier League where he can continue to be offside more than finding the back of the net.
