In his press conference on Friday morning, Arsène Wenger admitted that is yet to decide who will start up front against Chelsea.

The Arsenal boss will have to choose between Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott on Saturday lunchtime, but wasn’t giving anything away to the media.

The pair had mixed evenings during the midweek loss in Zagreb, so you’d think his decision would be pretty straightforward. Everything points towards Walcott starting.

Theo started last weekend and scored, before Giroud was given the nod in Croatia. The team was littered with changes as the manager already had one eye on the game at Stamford Bridge.

As if starting Walcott against Chelsea in the Community Shield win wasn’t enough to convince the boss to do the same again, Giroud got himself sent off on Wednesday night before Walcott came off the bench to score.

Given all of the recent evidence, it seems that Wenger’s made his mind up and it will be Walcott to start. But we’ll just have to wait and see.
