With Arsenal set to rotate against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League with Chelsea on the horizon, there is one man Arsene Wenger won’t be resting – Alexis Sanchez.
Still to find the net in the Premier League, the Chilean has been banging the woodwork more often than a woodpecker on speed lately, but you and I know that it’s only a matter of time before he starts finding the back of the net again.
Looking clearly fatigued at the start of the season, the Bionic Mosquito looks rejuvenated and with Dinamo presenting a formidable opposition having not lost in 41 games and Arsenal being without a number of key players, including Aaron Ramsey and Hector Bellerin who are being rested, Alexis will have to be at his very best.
Thankfully, the boss has no worries on that front as he told the media at his pre-match press conference:
Wenger on @Alexis_Sanchez: “He’s an important player for us because he can create and finish chances.” #ZAGvAFC pic.twitter.com/jC1a7kbG8X
