Upon returning to Arsenal to take up a new coaching role at the club, Thierry Henry has spoken to Arsenal Player about coming back and what he missed most about being away from the training ground.

The former forward admitted that he misses the comradery and ‘banter’ the lads had on the training ground, since it’s where the players spend most of their time.

However, he also revealed he misses the buzz that surrounds big games. Although the buzz isn’t always positive, he claims he misses every aspect of it.

Regarding his new career as a pundit for Sky Sports, Henry admitted that he didn’t really know how it was going to go or what was going to come from it, saying, “It’s not as easy as it looks.”

The legend explained how he had to get used to how the TV world works and he found it difficult at first to fit what he wanted to say within strict time constraints. Henry even admitted that sometimes his comments can come across as harsh because he has to be so concise with his analysis.

Could this explain his recent comments about Olivier Giroud not being good enough?
