Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain starts for England in Saturday’s game against San Marino.

The midfielder is a favourite of Roy Hodgson and will win his 21st England cap, all of them under the current manager. Kieran Gibbs and Theo Walcott are both on the bench for the qualifier.

England have a 100% record so far in the qualifiers, and will surely maintain that against the minnows of international football.

Of Oxlade-Chamberlain’s four goals for his country, two have come against San Marino, so he will hope to take this opportunity to add to his England record. His first England goal came at Wembley against Saturday’s opposition back in October 2012, before he scored again in the away game in March 2013.

Hopefully Gibbs and Walcott can feature from the bench and, more importantly, the players come out of the game unscathed.
