A miserable sounding Aaron Ramsey spoke to the Arsenal podcast this week and explained how the side know that losing two games in a row is simply not good enough for a side like Arsenal.

The Gunners crashed midweek in their Champions League opener and followed that up by a 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge however it’s hard to feel the second result was really in their control after the antics of Mike Dean and Diego Costa.

Speaking to the Arsenal podcast, Rambo said dourly “You know, we’re always going to create opportunities but we’re just disappointed because obviously we had a bad result midweek in the champions league.

“We wanted to get back to winning ways, another positive game and we were doing that right up until the sending off.

“I’m sure he’ll [Gabriel] learn from that. [editor – learn from what, it was hardly anything]

“We’ll have to move on and make things right on Wednesday.

“It’s not good enough for Arsenal to lose two games and hopefully now we can put things right on Wednesday it will be a feisty game with hopefully some goals in our favour.”

Arsenal travel to the Lane on Wednesday for the third away game of this four-match away streak and although it is only the Capital One Cup, they will know that a defeat to that lot will heap immense pressure on them before they travel to Leicester who are the only unbeaten side in the league.

Fun times.
