After losing the first game of the Champions League group stage, you might expect Arsène Wenger to play it safe against Olympiacos on Tuesday night.

Another shock defeat would leave Arsenal miles behind in the race to qualify from a group which also contains Bayern Munich, but a win against Tottenham with the use of second choice players could convince the Arsenal manager not to use all of his stars against the Greek giants.

David Ospina has, so far, been the cup and Champions League goalkeeper and that could continue. In front of him, Mathieu Debuchy and Kieran Gibbs are likely to be given further opportunities on the flanks with Per Mertesacker likely to be rested in the middle. The German played both games in the last week, and the manager also has Laurent Koscielny, Gabriel and Calum Chambers to choose from.

Francis Coquelin is facing a race to prove his fitness, should Wenger want to take the risk. He may well be tempted to reunite Coquelin with Santi Cazorla even if the Frenchman is struggling, as both Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini will miss out. Like Mertesacker, Aaron Ramsey played at White Hart Lane and the King Power Stadium, so is likely to be assessed. If considered fresh enough, the Welshman could be paired with Cazorla at the base of the midfield.

Mesut Özil and Alexis Sánchez should keep their places as neither started at White Hart Lane, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain should be fresh after sitting on the bench at the weekend. With Olivier Giroud suspended, Theo Walcott will start up front.
