Despite Arsenal being favourites to beat Olympiacos in the Champions League on Tuesday night, manager Marco Silva insists that his team will give everything they can to win.

After losing 2-1 to Dinamo Zagreb in our opening European fixture, Arsenal are under pressure to get a win at home against the Greek team on Tuesday.

Wenger has spoken about the importance of winning at home and our team are bound to come out fighting. However, this doesn’t mean to say it’ll be an easy win.

Olympiacos lost their opening match against Bayern Munich 3-0, so both teams need the points if they want to have any hope of progressing to the knock-out stages and although Silva acknowledges Arsenal’s quality, he insists they are prepared to deal with us.

“We are prepared to get the best result we can,” Silva said. “We know it will be a difficult game, how big a team Arsenal are and respect them, but we believe in our own strengths and are ready for a strong game.

“We are going to come here and show our best self, to show what we can do. We have analysed the jobs which Arsenal do well and will try not to make mistakes and match what we have done in training.”

Although this should be a straight forward win, we also thought that about Zagreb and look how that turned out. There’s no doubt that we should walk away with the victory but, until we play, there’s no guarantee.
