After watching his side lose to Everton at Goodison Park, Jose Mourinho believes Chelsea ‘are candidates’ to beat Arsenal when the two sides meet at Stamford Bridge next weekend.

Blaming everything for the defeat, including the computer that he uses for his ‘tactical meetings’ the ‘special one’ even claimed Everton picking up an injury in the first few minutes was one of the many things that are going against his side at present.

Looking a shadow of the side that strolled to the title last season, Mourinho isn’t fooling anyone, but with Arsenal on the horizon and his obsession with Arsene Wenger, we know that we are in for more than difficult match.

Asked about the upcoming game, Mourinho said “What I say without any doubt, the next match, we are candidates to win that match.

“The next match is Arsenal, we are candidates to win that game.”

He then repeated it a third time because, let’s face it, saying it twice just wouldn’t be enough.
