Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem impressed once again as Rangers beat Raith Rovers 5-0 to keep up their 100% record at the start of the season.

The young talent has been hugely impressive so far and was once more influential in another win. A number of key passes laid on by the youngster went unfinished and the loanee was also unable to grab his first goal for Rangers, but that didn’t stop him from impressing manager Mark Warburton.

“Gedion was first class again,” Warburton said after the game. “[He] kept the ball so well, keeps it moving, finds pockets of space. I’m delighted.”

The Arsenal man featured for an hour and struck a chord with the equally impressive Nathan Oduwa, who is also on loan from north London.

Oduwa is contracted to Tottenham but he and Zelalem seem to be forming a good relationship and, at a combined age of 37, are causing the Scottish Championship untold issues.

Should that continue they will both be leaving Glasgow to play regularly football in London in the near future.
