Arsenal’s lower league loanees had mixed afternoons in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Playing for five different teams in four games, Jon Toral, Wellington Silva, Chuba Akpom, Isaac Hayden and Emiliano Martinez managed two wins between them.

Jon Toral, Birmingham City 4-2 Bristol City

Spanish midfielder Toral continued his promising spell with Birmingham by grabbing an assist in the win over Bristol City. Before being subbed off in the 68th minute Toral laid on the second goal of Clayton Donaldson’s hat-trick.

Chuba Akpom & Isaac Hayden, Brighton 1-0 Hull City

The two England youth internationals both starter for Steve Bruce’s side before being subbed off late in the game. Akpom has failed to impress after a good start to the season, while Hayden was awarded with a start following some strong showings from the bench.

Wellington Silva & Emiliano Martinez, Bolton 2-1 Wolves

On opposite sides, Wellington will be much happier than Martinez with his weekend. The Brazilian winger won the penalty which saw Bolton race into a 2-0 lead shortly before half-time. He completed the most dribbles on the pitch and continues to catch the eye for the Lancashire side.
