With the Champions League set to begin, youth teams around the continent will also get the chance to pit themselves against their European counterparts.

The UEFA Youth League sees the groups mirroring the draw of the senior sides, meaning Arsenal will field an u19 team to face u19 sides put together by Dinamo Zagreb, Olympiacos and Bayern Munich.

The fixtures are also the same as the Champions League, so the Arsenal u19s are on their way to Zagreb on Tuesday to play their game on Wednesday afternoon.

Ahead of that fixture, club legend Thierry Henry and former Arsenal player Ryan Garry took a training session on Tuesday morning with the u19s preparing for their first European test of the new season.

Henry, currently working as a pundit for Sky Sports has been doing his coaching badges and Arsène Wenger has spoken about the ability his former captain may have to become a coach, and it is clear Arsenal are helping him develop those skills.

Whether or not it means he has a future at the club in a coaching role remains to be seen, but it is nice to see him wearing the club’s colours on the training ground once again.
