Isaac Hayden is currently enjoying a loan spell at Hull City where he’s featured six times and the midfielder believes the temporary move has helped him focus on what he wants to achieve.

The 20-year-old’s had a turbulent time with injuries during his time at Arsenal. Although he joined us at the age of 14, the later years of his career so far have seen him miss crucial game time, which he’s now trying to earn back.

Speaking recently, Hayden opened up about his time away from London and how it’s helping him as a player.

“This has been my first time living away from London. It’s a lot different. You don’t have the hustle and bustle of people like you do in London,” he said.

“That allows me to focus 110% on what it is I want to achieve. That’s playing football and developing my game.”

Loan moves are precisely for this. Leaving your regular team to go and integrate with another and truly earn your position in the squad can not only be helpful to them in terms of football, it can also be character building.

The youngster has impressed so far at Hull City and even had a hand in his team’s equalising goal recently.
