Calum Chambers is in Norway with the England u21s and is hoping for a repeat performance of the Young Lions’ win over the USA in their last match.

England beat the USA 1-0 with a goal from Manchester United’s James Wilson on Thursday and the team will be looking to do the same against Norway.

Speaking about the previous match, Chambers believes it was a deserved victory, although he reckons they’re capable of scoring more goals.

“I thought it was a good performance from us, to be honest,” he said.

“It was a good result, we kept a clean sheet and that’s always a bonus. But we fought hard during the game and got through some hard spells.

“During those little spells of possession they had, we stuck together as a team and we fought through it, which is a good sign.”

Chambers added, “We might want to score more goals, but over time we will start to get that fluidity as well.

“The more times we meet up and games we play, everyone will feel more comfortable around each other but it’s a good bunch of lads here.”

After a limited number of performances for his country, the lad will be looking to make his mark.

The defender tweeted on Monday, that he was looking forward to the match and preparation was well underway.
