Alexis Sanchez, ever the ball of love, has wished Danny Welbeck his best via his social media.
An injury that was supposed to only keep Welbeck out for just three weeks has now turned into a nightmare. After the injury failed to heal by itself, surgery was required and it’s now looking as if the 24-year-old be out for several months.
Welbeck needs the support of his teammates now more than ever, as being sidelined for so long can be hugely demoralising – a topic Mikel Arteta highlighted recently.
Alexis posted a picture of himself celebrating with Welbeck with a caption, which translates as, “Much strength my friend and I hope that you return to the team soon and to see you happy as in this photo.”
