Arsenal u19s recently won the Durban International tournament in South Africa.

Arsenal don’t actually have a youth team at u19 level so a mixture of players usually with the u21 and u18 squad was selected to represent the club at a tournament against teams from Celtic, the South African national youth system, PSV Eindhoven and VfB Stuttgart.

Gedion Zelalem and Chris Willock were possibly the best known players to travel, and the American u20 international impressed as Arsenal went on to win the tournament.

Also impressive was 16 year-old Yassin Fortune. Who? Well, Fortune has been signed from RC Lens and is good friends with Jeff Reine-Adelaide, who also came from the French club. Fortune looked good as he scored in the semi-final before netting a last minute winner in the final of the competition.
