At Wolves one former Arsenal man, Benik Afobe, is having the time of his life. A current Arsenal player, Emiliano Martinez, isn’t.

Afobe scored the opener last night as Wolves hosted QPR, and it was unbelievably his 16th goal in his 25th appearance for the club since he signed for them last January. Arsenal allegedly have a clause to buy Afobe back and, if this for continues, may well consider using it at some point.

Emiliano Martinez is definitely expected to return to the Emirates after a loan deal gives him regular football but, arguably like Petr Čech, hasn’t had the best of starts at his new club.

QPR battled back from two goals down to beat Wolves at Molineux, and the performance doesn’t cover Martinez in glory. The Argentine was recently praised by manager Kenny Jackett but was arguably at fault for both the equaliser and the winner as Matt Phillips scored twice to give QPR a 3-2 win.

This isn’t a video that Martinez will want to see again any time soon.
