As if Monday evening games aren’t annoying enough for those attending, especially for fans who have to trek half way across the country, travel advice has been issued ahead of Liverpool’s visit to the Emirates.

With planned engineering works on the underground set to take place, there will be no Victoria line between Walthamstow Central and Seven Sisters on the day of the game with only reduced services in operation on the rest of the line, including to and from King’s Cross, Euston, Highbury & Islington and Finsbury Park.

This, of course, means that other lines will be a lot busier than normal, especially the Piccadilly line, so you are advised to leave extra time for your journey.

Construction work is still ongoing at Highbury & Islington meaning that access will be significantly reduced and fans should also note that on their walk to the station they will only be able to use the route between Upper Street and Holloway Road.

The station will be open but people are advised to seek alternative routes if possible and to consult Transport for London for more advice.
