Aaron Ramsey is looking forward to our tie against Liverpool at the Emirates on Monday.

Last time the Merseyside team visited our home ground, we beat them 4-1, with goals from Hector Bellerin, Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud. Their penalty was little consolation against an Arsenal side that really turned up on the day and deserved the landslide victory.

The midfielder is keen to replicate the performance, if not the scoreline, against Liverpool when we play them on Monday.

“It is one of those games you always look for when the fixtures come out,” Rambo said. “You look for the bigger games and this is where you want to test yourself against the better players and this is a fixture that will have that.”

The midfielder added, “It’s going to be tough, we did well against them at home last season and they will be looking to do us over from what we did last year. Hopefully we can do our best to avoid that and if we play the way we know we can I’m sure we will come out on top.”

The Welshman is likely to start in the eagerly anticipated fixture.

The 24-year-old has only scored once during the seven times he’s faced Liverpool, but has also got two assists. He’s had a good run of luck against them as five out of these seven matches have resulted in a win for his team. Only once has he suffered a loss at their hands so hopefully our welsh midfielder brings us plenty of luck.

Although it would be nice if we didn’t have to resort to ‘luck’, obviously.
