Tafari Moore spoke after the u19s 1-1 draw with KZN Academy in the Durban 2015 tournament on Friday.

The 18-year-old full-back spoke to Arsenal Player about the result, revealing that he felt they started strongly and were on top of the game until their left-back, Ilias Chatzitheodoridis, got sent off in the first half.

However, the defender was proud of how the team stuck to their game plan and came back to grab a draw.

Moore, who’s featured for the youth team 22 times during his career with us, thought the team showed great character and overcame the tricky surface that the team weren’t used to.

When it comes to improvements that need to be made for the next match, the defender believes the team, need more support up front and communication between the back four both before and during the match.

The team are keen to progress after their next game against PSV, as this is their first pre-season tournament.

On a personal level, Moore has been sidelined with injury for seven months after initially being injured for three and picking up another. He described being back on the pitch as “the best feeling ever.”
