Chelsea Ladies are looking to do the quadruple having secured the FA Women’s Cup for the first time.

Since then the Blues have been given a kind draw in the Champions League against Glasgow City Ladies. They currently sit fourth in group one in FA WSL Continental Cup, following their home defeat to the Gunners last Sunday, but will play London Bees and Millwall in their remaining two games. They should end up with 12 points and qualify for the quarter finals.

Chelsea remain top of the league, two points ahead of the Gunners in third place, with Sunderland separating the two London sides.

Match preview

As the game will be played at 6pm, both sides will be aware of the results from Liverpool, Sunderland and Manchester City. This is a must not lose for both teams with only four games remaining.

A Chelsea win would surely knock Arsenal out of the title race, as it would leave them five points behind the Blues with three games to go.

On the other hand a win for Arsenal win would see the Gunners overtake Chelsea and leave them in a good position in the title race, possibly even top of the league, depending on the results elsewhere.

A draw would be a negative for Arsenal unless Sunderland and City do not win earlier on in the day. The best scenario for the Gunners would be for Bristol, Birmingham and Notts County to win, leaving Arsenal with a clear shot at the league.

Predicted line-ups

Arsenal have had Jordan Nobbs on the bench for the last two games but was not used at all. Vicky Losada is probably still on the injury list alongside Leah Williamson and Kelly Smith. Chloe Kelly picked up a knock last week in the game against a Japanese U18 side.

Chelsea will have Davison back from suspension and have a question mark about Chapman who was injured in the Conti Cup game on Sunday. They should be able to have their forward three of Aluko, Kirby and Davison unless they keep their 4-4-2 diamond system that failed last week.

Arsenal possible XI (4-3-3): Byrne; Scott, Stoney, Rose, Mitchell; Bailey, Janssen, Corredera; Carter, Sanchon, Ubogagu.

Chelsea possible XI (4-3-3): Lindhal; Blundell, Fahey, Flaherty, Rafferty; Bright, Chapman/Coombs, Spence; Aluko, Kirby, Davison.
