Arsène Wenger has given the latest injury updates ahead of Monday night’s clash against Liverpool, and it’s good news for Arsenal fans.

For once there are no fresh injuries to be concerned with, and the squad on Monday should look very similar – if not the same – to the one that came away from Selhurst Park with all three points on Sunday.

“From the Palace game we have no injuries,” Wenger told Arsenal.com on Thursday.

“We have still Wilshere, Welbeck and Rosicky to come back. And we have no suspensions. So we should have a similar squad for the Liverpool game.

“Rosicky is progressing nicely but he is far away. Wilshere should be the first back from those players, he is making good progress.”

There are still no concrete updates provided about Danny Welbeck, whose suspicious ‘bruised bone’ knee injury was only supposed to keep him out for a matter of weeks when it was suffered back in April.

The situation surrounding him is unclear but good news otherwise as Arsenal look win their second consecutive game.

It also means there have been no setbacks for the likes of Mikel Arteta and Héctor Bellerín. A thigh issue kept Bellerín out of the opening game of the season and Arteta hadn’t played in the Premier League since November. Both came through the game against Palace with no issues, so Wenger has a strong squad to choose from.
