The 2015/16 UEFA Champions League group stage draw has seen Arsenal pitted against Bayern Munich, Olympiakos and Dinamo Zagreb in Group F.

The Gunners were in pot two this season, as UEFA have changed the way the seedings work, meaning pot one contained sides which won their domestic titles last season.

Arsène Wenger’s side faced Bayern Munich in the round of 16 in two of the last three campaigns, losing on away goals after a 3-3 aggregate draw in 2013 as Bayern went on to lift the trophy. Most recently against Bayern, Arsenal lost 3-1 on aggregate in the 2013/14 season.

From the third pot, Group F will also see Arsenal face Olympiakos. The Greek side have won three of six games against Arsène Wenger’s men, with all three Arsenal wins coming at home. In each of the Olympiakos victories Arsenal have headed to Greece for the last game of the group stage, having already qualified.

Dinamo Zagreb are the final team in Group F. Last time Arsenal faced the Croatian club was back in 2006, with the Gunners knocking them out in the play-off round.

Hopefully we can successfully negotiate the group to find ourselves in the knockout stages again this season.
