Four Arsenal Ladies players have topped the Champions League all-time appearances list, announced by UEFA, prior to the competition draw at the end of the week.

Arsenal have been the main English representatives in the competition for a dozen seasons so it is no surprise that the club consistency has been rewarded with this accolade.

Arsenal Ladies have played the most games in the competition (79) and have also reached the most quarter-finals with 12 appearances.

There is hope that Arsenal can return to the competition in 2016/17 after a three-year hiatus with a top two finish in the FA WSL very much a possibility with only four games remaining.
