Saturday afternoon sees Arsenal face Everton in the final of the Barclays Asia Trophy.

Arsène Wenger used 17 players in the 4-0 win over Singapore Select XI on Wednesday and confirmed that the nine players who weren’t used then would play a part in Saturday’s fixture against Premier League opposition.

The line-up has been announced and the Arsenal manager has selected new signing Petr Čech as expected. The game see Čech play for Arsenal for the first time.

Arsenal XI to face Everton:
Čech; Bellerín, Chambers, Koscielny, Gibbs; Cazorla, Ramsey; Walcott, Özil, Wilshere; Giroud.

Čech’s debut is the major talking point, and the side is more or less full-strength and includes three of our goalscorers from the FA Cup Final victory against Aston Villa back in May.

Unless Arsène Wenger goes back to his 4-1-4-1 idea of last Autumn and has Mesut Özil on the flank Jack Wilshere is likely to start in a wide role, and is the only player who also started on Wednesday.

The players arrived at the stadium an hour and a half before kick-off, with Arsenal giving live updates all afternoon via Twitter:

The bench includes a number of first-team players as well as a few youngsters. Mikel Arteta is in a squad for the first time in almost eight months and Chuba Akpom could be used again after a hat-trick on Wednesday

The game kicks off at 13:30 BST and is live on Sky Sports for anyone wishing to watch it in the UK.
