It’s official: Theo Walcott has signed a new with Arsenal after months of negotiations and so has Santi Cazorla – bonus!
Walcott’s contract, said to be a four-year-deal worth £140k a week, secures the forward’s future to the club with only one year left on his existing contract.
Meanwhile, 30-year-old Cazorla has also put pen-to-paper and signed a two-year contract extension with the Gunners.
Both players are integral parts of the team with Santi in particular having a huge impact on our style of play, featuring in 53 matches for us last season.
Walcott, on the other hand, is returning from long term injury but has enjoyed a great-season and looks set to continue.
Congratulations to @19SCazorla and @theowalcott on their new @Arsenal contracts! Full story: http://t.co/gJGvjapVm1 pic.twitter.com/D194n25esu
