According to John Cross from the Mirror, Carl Jenkinson has just signed another five year contract with us.

Cross tweeted about the deal on Monday, saying:

The right-back spent last season out on loan to West Ham United and, it’s now been revealed that he’s set to do the same this year, despite apparent interest from other Premier League clubs, such as Sunderland and Southampton.

The hammers have reportedly agreed to pay a £2m fee for the 23-year-old, who has only appeared for Arsenal 57 times since joining in 2011, not even double what he played for West Ham in just one season.

We wish the best of luck the Jenko over the next season and hope he continues to develop as a player.
