The Arsenal squad have been made to feel very welcome as the club visits Singapore for the first time.

Two training sessions took place on Tuesday, but the players have still found plenty of spare time to see the sights and make some public appearances. Aaron Ramsey posted on Twitter as he was joined on TV by Theo Walcott, Laurent Koscielny and Francis Coquelin.

As well as being interviewed, Ramsey tweeted that the players were given a bit of a ‘Silat’ class. Learning martial arts is an unlikely way to get the edge over our Premier League rivals.

Laurent Koscielny also took to social media after an interview with Coquelin for Emirates.

Meanwhile, Arsenal’s academy stars were taken to sample the local ‘Little India’ market, with photos on Arsenal.com. While there Emiliano Martinez and Jon Toral went on to sample fresh coconut. Lovely.

Business will get much more serious tomorrow, with Arsenal facing Singapore Select XI in the Barclays Asia Trophy.
