Reports are emerging from Spain that Arsenal want to sign another ‘new Cesc Fabregas‘, which must take the tally up to 64.

According to Merca, Real Batis teenager, Dani Ceballos, is reportedly in our sights and set to impress as Arsene Wenger has supposedly compared him to the new Cesc Fabregas – like we’ve never heard that before.

The midfielder featured in 39 games for the La Liga side last season, scoring five and also assisting five.

The Spanish team apparently want €12m (£8.55m), which, if he’s really as promising as they say, isn’t an extortionate amount considering we spent £15m on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at a similar age. Although I know the Ox is English, which escalates his price, it wouldn’t be a shocking sum of money. Especially as Arsene loves an attacking midfielder.

The only fly in the ointment is that Ceballos has just signed a contract extension with Real Betis. Although this could be to drive up the asking price, it ultimately comes down to whether we’re legitimately interested and whether Real Betis want to sell.

Here’s the youngster in action.
