The signing of Petr Čech has left Arsenal with three senior goalkeepers, and someone surely has to make way.

That someone is likely to be David Ospina, who played 20 times during his first season in London but did not do enough to convince Arsène Wenger that he is the answer between the posts. Almost two years older than Szczesny, who has a strong affiliation with the club, the Colombian looks set to miss out despite wanting to stay.

The latest interested party are Valencia, according to the Daily Star. Current Valencia goalkeeper Diego Alves played 37 La Liga games last season but is in his thirties – perhaps the club are looking to move him on or bring in a strong alternative?

Ospina has said that he will talk with Wenger when he returns to London. The goalkeeper is currently on holiday following his stint at the Copa América with Colombia, but wants to stay at Arsenal. He has also said that interest from Everton provides him with an interesting option while other European clubs are also interested in him.

It is pretty clear that Ospina’s days at Arsenal are numbered,  but we will have to wait a little longer to learn where he will end up next season. Moves to France, Spain, or staying in England all seem to be options to the goalkeeper right now.
