Speaking somewhere in Islington on top of a bus, Olivier Giroud reflected on the team’s FA Cup final performance as well as his own goal.

The Frenchman came on with 12 minutes to spare to score Arsenal’s fourth goal of the match and his eighth FA Cup goal since joining the Gunners in 2012.

It’s clear that he’s incredibly proud from both a team and a personal perspective. Scoring in the FA Cup final is a big deal and I’m glad he recognises that.

Although the forward has been off the boil in recent months, this was his 19th goal for us this season in 36 appearances.

Blimey. If that’s his ‘bad form‘, I don’t think we have too much to worry about if I’m honest.
