Alexis Sanchez has told the media in Chile that he has grown as a player since signing for Arsenal.

The frontman took the Premier League by storm in his first season and his magnificent strike in the FA Cup final was simply the massive, shiny cherry on top of his pie of awesomeness.

“I had a breakthrough in my football life,” Sanchez said at the press conference ahead of the start of the Copa America on 11th June. “Now I switch to the left, I make goals, I pass, I am evolving.

“And if I’m put in at centre forward, I will do it in the best way possible and I am fit to play.”

Grabbing 25 goals and 12 assists, Sanchez also led Arsenal in the Hleb pass (assisting the assister) with 10 of those as well.

Although he won’t have had a proper break from playing for a number of seasons, as Arsenal fans, we can’t help but be incredibly excited about what next season will bring knowing that he will be even more settled and familiar with both his teammates and the language.

Hubba hubba.
