Mesut Ozil was one of many Arsenal players who took to social media on Monday to welcome our new signing, goalkeeper Petr Cech.
Like the fans, our players seem ecstatic with the news that the former Chelsea man is now officially a Gunner after weeks (or was it years?) of speculation.
Ozil has only faced Chelsea five times since he transferred to us from Real Madrid two seasons ago and none of those matches ended in an Arsenal win. Nor has he scored or assisted against the Blues.
Hopefully this season, this will change.
