It’s that time of year, where the English summer starts to peek over the parapet, and addicts like myself start to feel the sting of the absence of club football.

Sure, we have the odd international qualifying match, the u21 tournament coming up and the women’s World Cup (excellent so far I hasten to add), but for all the interest, I just can’t bring myself to care very much. At least as a multi-sport addict I have Wimbledon to look forward to, especially after the astounding level on show at the French Open, and the Ashes, but both have the problem of taking all day, and frankly both suffer from a conspicuous absence of Arsenal-ness.

Happily though, the world and its internetty wonderfulness is full of fans who want to prolong the pleasure of the season. So instead of just repeating the already splendid season and player review articles on here, I’m going to let pictures and sound do the talking. Especially when the final speech is such a happy one.

Arsenal once again scored over 100 goals this season, despite early season wobbles and injuries, and quite a few of them were absolute corkers. Wilshere against Man City and West Brom, Giroud against West Ham and Liverpool, Ramsey against Galatasaray and Hull City, Sanchez against half of England and Europe…
